Built in a matter of weeks, this project seamlessly blends the old and the new, preserving a slice of Auckland’s heritage while introducing modern design elements to create a vibrant community of terraced houses.
Working with architects Creative Arch, a heritage-protected shop the front of the development has been meticulously maintained, paying homage to its historical significance. Behind this, four contemporary three-bedroom townhouses have been constructed, reflecting the neighbourhood's character with a fresh, modern twist.
The townhouses feature bold architectural forms and modern technology, harmonising with the surrounding area.
Natural light floods the living, entertaining, and bedroom areas of each home, thanks to the site’s optimal northern and western exposure. The strong roof lines and contrasting colour palettes add a unique and modern aesthetic, blending effortlessly into the historic fabric of Point Chevalier.
